Qtgrace

. 20 days ago posted on On Windows 10 I have been using the Qtgrace binary for some time. Recently, I wanted to produce good quality pdfs. I found and built libhpdf.dll using Visual Studio but the button under 'Miscellaneous' stayed red. Then built the library using CodeBlocks and mingw - still no luck. Then tried to build Qtgrace from sources.

Build succeeds but Qtgrace will not run, claiming an issue with T1lib. This seems to related to grace fonts?

Have to give up for now but any suggestions appreciated. Ideally, how. 27 days ago modified on The place to find the latest version of QtGrace (probably unstable and incomplete). This is Work In Progress. Just for testing.

8 months ago posted on I am attaching the qtcreator debug screen at segfault. 8 months ago posted on Hi, I also built it on Fedora 27 and segfaults immediately on start (first time it did go though the configuration options though but started segfaulting after that). 8 months ago posted on Dear Andreas, Thank you for this new version. The build has the same warning messages than version v026. Unfortunately, the executable badly fails when launched.

I launched it with debug option under qtcreator and it segfaults immediately with a SIGSEGV signal. The debugger points to line 5255 in allWidgets.cpp: if (pstrstringno.activefalse) On the upper right panel, the variable stringo (a int) has value -1, which may explain the segfault. When the PNG file is e.g.

To be included as a Latex figure, these borders are often inconvenient. Is there a simple way to crop the PNG file so that it contains only the useful part of the plot? Of course, this can be done afterwards (e.g; using 'convert -trim'), but having it integrated in qtgrace would be nice. Best regards Dominique.

8 months ago posted on Dear Andreas, Thank you for qtgrace which I find very useful (especially the 'undo' feature, badly missing in xmgrace). I am using Debian Stretch and have the same problem (segfault when opening a file from the command line). You write that the current development version corrects this bug. Where can I find this developement version? The hg repository seems older than version 0.26. Mit freundlichen Gruessen Dominique. 9 months ago posted on Dear Andwin, I hope you can provide us the latest version as soon as possible!

I managed to build a Fedora 27 rpm for qtgrace and ran into this problem as well. Best, Sait. 12 months ago posted on Dear Jerome; Thank you for your bug-report.

I figured this out after an email by someone else some time ago. Therefore this problem has already been fixed in the current development version of QtGrace. (The Icons are generated at the very beginning now.) I have not made much progress in QtGrace lately because I had a lot of work at my regular job and therefore had not as much time as I wanted to have. Also I don't have enough requests for new features and improvements and I am therefore not very.

To export your plot to word please use the 'Export to file'-option. Load your agr-file in QtGrace then go to 'File-File Export Setup.' In this dialog select an output-format you like (I would recommend png). In the page settings you can increase the resolution a bit (200 or 300 dpi for example). If you are working with high resolutions I would recommend activating the 'Scale line width by resolution'-option here as well (otherwise all lines will be quite. 1 year ago posted on Dear andwin, I'm not english native speaker, so that I'm sorry for my bad english.
