Rated 3 out of 5 by pixelpusher from Solar is Kewl! It works well.

Unifying receiver is great. I was able to use one receiver for my mouse and keyboard with no problem. Office 2011 mac activation key. The solar power works well. Even if you don't have much natural light.

My only complaint is the keys aren't as nice as the full-size apple keyboard keys. The keys make a thumpy sound opposed too the clicky sound of the apple keyboard. And the whole thing is very plasticky:/ Definetely a value oriented product. The green color accent is cool though. I just wish they tacked a solar strip to the apple full size keyboard instead of this plastic board.

If you want a cheap full-size wireless keyboard, this is the best one. Rated 4 out of 5 by AggieTuba1 from Works fine Nice key feel. Slightly different from MacBook Pro keyboard, but does not take too much getting used to. No issue with setup or connectivity. The unified Logitech receiver is so compact you don't really even notice it.

I just leave it plugged in, and it allows for the possibility of a mouse or other peripheral to be added. As other reviewers have mentioned, I'd have liked for a caps lock indicator light to have been included. Isn't this a feature keyboards have had since the 1980s? Otherwise it would be five stars. We'll see if the solar power continues to work out.

I don't see why it wouldn't, but if it breaks, it's game over. Using this keyboard, I can keep my hands at the edge of the desk to promote good posture. I also bought a Bookstand to set behind it to allow me to read and type ergonomically. Rated 5 out of 5 by Andrew H. From This Item Delivers Bought 2 of these keyboards, one for a coworker and the other for myself. We were more than satisfied from day one on. There are many attributes for this Logitech Keyboard designed for Mac, so I will just list them: Great key spacing, quiet typing, concave key design lets your fingers easily find the right key, design mimics OEM design, wireless connectivity (no wires cluttering the desk), $, and last but not least.

The fact that this is solar power means that there is never a worry about needing to have spare AAA or AA batteries laying around. If in need of a Keyboard for your mac, simply look no farther! Rated 5 out of 5 by Stealth from Great Keyboard for a Great Price After shopping around for a keyboard for my laptop, I stumbled across this one in a coworker's office. It's everything I wanted in the manufacturer's Bluetooth keyboard, for the same price. Most notably, an extended number pad.

The solar power works astonishingly well. Using only a 60W lightbulb I can keep it charged up for a very long time. The keys are just as responsive as the manufacturer's version. All of the function keys work beautifully. It feels sturdy and durable. The unifying receiver stays out of the way and works seamlessly with the keyboard and mouse I'm using. I would have preferred Bluetooth, but with everything else going for it, I'm ok with overlooking that.

Overall, a great keyboard with excellent features for a decent price. Rated 4 out of 5 by Allan from Works well Pros: Nice slim design for afull-size keyboard. Great to have the number pad on the side.

Very responsive with no lag time. Cons: no backlighting (mentioned in reviews).

No instruction manual - Nothing more than a brief diagram on box on how to set-up so I nearly missed the USB bluetoothplug-in (stuck in part of the box) and there is a cover over one part of the back of the keyboard that I still have no idea what it does or how to get it off. An odd, elipticalmark under the solar panel suggest some form of coating defect, but so far no impact on performance. Rated 3 out of 5 by Liang from Squeaky keyboard after minimal use This keyboard's been used for probably about a month in total, but the Spacebar already has a squeaky sound when pressed in the middle:(. Separately, this may be more a Mac issue, but when the Mac goes to sleep, the keyboard is unable to wake it. It instead requires me pressing the power button on, which is kind of annoying. Previously when using a wired keyboard, or even the wireless mack keyboard this was not an issue. I do like the layout of the keyboard, and the solar feature is working as advertised.

Logitech K750 Wireless Keyboard For Mac

Last October, the Logitech Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 for Mac was introduced by Logitech. Right off the bat it was sold out. I wanted one so I had to wait for the second release and lo and behold I was able to snag one.

I placed the order right with Logitech directly. Made things nice and easy So $59.99 lighter and about a week later I get my keyboard. (Keep in mind the Mac version is $20.00 less! I think that's a first lol) I almost forgot about ordering it until beelzebozo asked if I had received it yet. So like a little kid I went running for the door and to my surprise I had a package!!! It was awesome I felt like a little kid at Christmas! So I shook the box and I heard something rattling about inside of it and my heart sank a bit.

Logitech Logitech Wireless Keyboard K750 For Mac Battery Replacement

I was worried that the dreaded UPS had again beat up my package during delivery and left me with pieces and hours of customer support on the phone. But when I opened the box I had found it to be the wireless USB dongle, it is about the size of a mini Bluetooth dongle. This made me happy again. So I removed the keyboard from the box playfully not thinking that this is not like my 2005 iMac keyboard, which I am now able to retire from using, but a sleek and think electronically designed piece of art.

Since I built a new computer desk it would accompany my main piece of art, a 24' Apple cinema Display. They do both look awesome together, almost orgasmic. (I'm sure if you stuck the G5 case mod next to it would be a toe curling experience) But I digress!

Back the Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 for Mac! OK where was I?

Oh yeah, the keyboard is thin and sleek, the buttons are that of a laptop and a lot more contoured for the finger tips. Each key has a slight roughness to assist in non slippage unlike most smooth surface keyboards. The size of the face is one to a full size keyboard and it has a nice stylish look. The top portion is aligned with the solar panels where it receives its life force form making this a unique tool. It has an on/off button and a power check button. When you plug the keyboard in for the first time is just works!

F keys, number pad, command key and all that. I have the eject button and volume button with the brightness ones for my display. Let’s go back to that power check button. Now here is where it gets as slick as a monkey on a Segway. You have some instructions in the box to jump over to Logitech and download this app, it's called 'Solar App' very original huh? I thought so too but this app gets downloaded and is all sleepy like, if you choose that option, until you hit that power check button. Then it pops up with a power gage and battery meter.

Very useful and helpful, especially if you’re playing a game and do not want a battery failure because then you'll most likely get pwned by some damn noob while playing Black Ops. You know what happens then right? You get to hear this damn prepubescent kid screech in your ear about how he just killed you.

Then all you want to do is reach through the screen and but wait. WTH off on another rant. So that power check thing is pretty damn sweet. The typing feels nice and the keys aren't loud and clanky. It has two little legs in the front underneath to give it some propping up for all you people with arthritis and what not.

This unit is not for you guys with hooks for hands though. The hook might damage said keyboard and customer support may not cover hook damage.

So in the box you get nice solar keyboard, mini USB receiver and USB extension paper work and instructions on the inside lid of box. Instructions state 2 steps, plug in UBS stick and remove small watch battery cover. So in retrospect the K750 for the Mac is a nice buy. It works in OS X as well as Win 7, plus it functions in the Chameleon Screen to choose your OS) The Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 for Mac is a really nice and inexpensive buy for a wireless replacement keyboard.

It will do the job and looks pretty good while doing it, kind of like Vanna White did back in the 90's.
